What does a button collection, a shelf and a necklace have in common? They are all treasures that Renascence School International students brought to show and tell on Friday! In Mrs. Sellers class, show and tell is a weekly event that is a big hit with the kids. Mrs. Sellers brought this activity into her classes to give her students the opportunity to open up and speak in front of the class. She can utilize this time to assess their language skills all while having fun and getting to know one another. The special items brought in range from fun toys to impressive heirlooms like a necklace with a picture of President Jimmy Carter holding a student’s Father as a young toddler! Wow! What a fun and engaging way to end the school week!
