Outside the Box – Christy Johnson

Logs, wire, platforms, and rock-climbing wall are not words that are normally associated with teaching, but this past Saturday the Renascence School International faculty gathered at Tyndall Air Force Base to work on team building skills. There were many challenges during the three hour course. For example, on one mission the team had to work together to rearrange their order by birthday while standing on a log and without using words. No stepping down or falling off allowed! All of the activities were designed to bring the group closer while teaching them the best ways to communicate and work together. Topping the day off was a climb up a vertical rock-climbing wall! The teachers and faculty at the Renascence School International are starting off the school year as a team!
