Outside the Box – Christy Johnson

Students at the Renascence School International were busy designing, stuffing and dressing their class scarecrows, for a chance to win the scarecrow contest at the St. Andrews 4th Annual Scarecrow Festival. The festival will take place on Saturday, October 27th in downtown St. Andrews. The scarecrows are already on display along Beck Avenue in the St. Andrews waterfront district. If you would like to see the scarecrows that the Renascence students created, they are on 10th and Bay View, next to Hanson’s Endondontics! The kids will be very excited to see their scarecrows on display! A big thank you to Mrs. Sellers, a Renascence School International English teacher, for involving the students in this fun event and for the parents who helped to make it all happen. The students have really enjoyed the creativity and fun that goes into making a scarecrow come to life!
