Last year I began working at a school with block scheduling, which offered me 100-minute math classes, four days a week. As a math teacher, I’ve always stressed about having enough time in class and was thrilled to begin my new schedule. However, I wasn’t as thrilled about the new curriculum, which left me searching for ways to engage my students in math on a daily basis. (more)
