Outside the Box – Christy Johnson
Students perform annually at the Festival of Nations, a multicultural event that takes place in downtown Panama City. On Saturday, the Renascence School children took their places on the stage at the Asian Village. In honor of Veteran’s Day they started with a quote from JFK and the Pledge of Allegiance. After that they sang two songs in Spanish and two songs in Chinese and ended by singing the American song “Surfing USA”. The teachers worked together to make the props and prepare the students for their performances. The Renascence School students were a big hit!
