When it comes to developing a child’s literacy and vocabulary skills, a new study has found that having a child listen to and read a story at the same time can make a big difference. Literacy skills are an important part of child development, and it can be a priority to a parent that their child has advanced skills growing up and they want to do whatever they can to help promote the tools needed to help. Parents have been led to believe that reading alone was enough to develop these skills, but it turns out that there is even more we can do to help.
